This is also a self-post so I receive no karma for upvotes to this submission. This is a recent post I found on the neoseeker forums. Some weapons take a lot longer to build up the opponents bleed meter than others.įrom this point on I take absolutely NO credit for the following guide/write-up. Now, the big difference between these bleed weapons is their bleed build-up rate. (5 Hits 100HP = 500 Damage) + (Full Bleed Damage 300 Rating = 300 Damage ) = 800 Damage done altogether by the 5th hit and leaves your opponent with 200HP remaining. 5 consecutive hits to their body) your damage would be: Your weapon does 100 physical damage per strike and takes 5 strikes to fill their bleed meter. Bleed build-up also occurs THROUGH shields and is a great way to punish a turtling opponent. Bleed damage is also completely separate from physical damage.
A bleed rating of 500 means that once the opponent's bleed meter is filled then 50% of that person's HP will be drained. A bleed rating of 300 means that once the opponent's bleed meter is filled then 30% of that person's HP will be drained. These weapons can be identified by a rating found below this indicator on the weapon's stats. These weapons are typically Katanas, Daggers, and Scythes.
Okay, so as we all know certain weapons have a "bleed effect" that is applied with every strike.
